| Afternoon in Pisa This was one of our most enjoyable day trips. We had a relaxing ride on the Eurostar, the weather was nice, and Lupe even met some people from her hometown. In case you are wondering, we took one look at the tower, and decided we were not going to pay $20 each for the "privilege" of climbing to the top. We enjoyed the tower from the ground level.

| Our Day Trip to Venice Venice was another fun day trip. This time, we took the Inter-City train. Not quite as comfy as the Eurostar, but is was fine for the short ride. Weather was rather cool, and was rather chilly in the evening when it was time to head back home.
