| We held a surprise 40th birthday party for Lupe on Saturday, November 8th, and were able to pull it off due to a combined effort from everyone. Huge thank you to Holly, who spent the whole afternoon (and half of the party) in the kitchen, and to George, Nina and Yoshiko for helping out with the balloons and decorations. And to Lauren, who probably had the most difficult job of all - getting Lupe out of the house by 2:30 pm, keeping her out of the house, then getting her back to the house by 6:30 pm.
